Hybrid Wilderness Recertification Course

Courses are hosted by Cottonwood Gulch and taught by NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute.

WFR-R- It’s never too late for a refresher! Join NOLS and Cottonwood Gulch for a proper refresher for your wilderness first responder re-certification. NOLS’s professional instructors will run this course, and you’ll review evacuation procedures decision-making and receive the latest in wilderness medicine instruction. This course will include an online portion as well. Be sure to check out these online Course Resources because you will be taking a written exam before the hands-on part of the course.

You’ll be learning both outside and inside regardless of weather conditions, so come prepared for hot, cold, and muddy conditions!
