ARCHAEOLOGY TREK
Dates: 08/08 – 08/13
Ages: 21+
A special additional adult trek that will travel through and visit some of the most interesting historical locations in the Four Corners. From Chaco Canyon to Ojo Caliente, participants will travel through time, crossing New Mexico from west to east, camping in classic Gulch style in the beautiful, expansive mesas and desert prairies of the Southwest.
**By signing up for Archaeology Trek- you are guaranteed a free ticket to our 100th Anniversary Reunion. However, you still need to register through the website.

FAMILY TREK

This year, Family Trek will be the perfect way for you and your loved ones to enjoy a road loop around New Mexico right before spending the weekend at Basecamp for our centennial. You’ll have the opportunity to visit your favorite New Mexico destinations and live out some of your fondest Gulch memories with the next generation of trekkers!

100th ANNIVERSARY REUNION

Our 100th Anniversary Reunion is coming up at the end of our 100th summer of trek! Since 1926, the Gulch has celebrated outdoor learning in the American Southwest. This year, we invite you to join us for a weekend of celebration and community at our Basecamp. The festivities will include one-of-a-kind Cottonwoods, day trips from Basecamp to nearby adventures, sharing delicious meals, and singing songs together as only Gulch folk can! FLOCKS AND ROCKS
Dates: 08/05 – 08/13
Ages: 21+
Flocks and Rocks is back and better than ever! From the Great Plains to the Gila Wilderness to the Colorado Plateau and the Chihuahuan Desert, we will visit the major physiographic and ecological zones of the state. In doing so, we will see stunning examples of geology (e.g., Rio Grande Rift), plant communities (alpine tundra), and zoology (Mexican Jays and Bridled Titmice of Madrean woodlands). If you are interested in checking rare birds off your lifetime list, walking through picturesque rock formations, and spending time with friends and family traveling the Four Corners for a week, then look no further than Flocks and Rocks 2026!
