There are only a few more days left for you to let us know who you think should win our 2026 Silver Buckle Award! Nominations close at 11:59pm on May 31st! Don’t miss this opportunity to honor and recognize excellence in a special someone who has demonstrated an impactful pattern of service to the Gulch!

Whom can you nominate?

Eligibility: Any past staff member, donor, or volunteer (including members of the board of directors) of Cottonwood Gulch shall be eligible to receive the award. Current staff members and members of the board of directors are not eligible. Institutions and organizations that have served as valued partners may also be nominated. To be eligible, a nomination must be made for a potential recipient.

CALL TO ACTION FOR OUR 100th ANNIVERSARY SILENT AUCTION

As part of our 100th Anniversary celebration, please consider contributing items or experiences that can be auctioned during the weekend event.  The proceeds from the auction will be used primarily to support our scholarship program.

We are seeking donations of both items (e.g., artwork, jewelry, Cottonwood Gulch memorabilia) and experiences (e.g., vacation homes, guided tours, Zoom classes). For more information about what makes a good donation, click the button below.

Please read the document thoroughly so that all auction items meet the guidelines and are appropriate for our auction.

CONSIDER DONATING TO OUR SCHOLARSHIP FUND: SUPPORT A 2026 SUMMER TREKKER!
As we strive to make our programs more accessible, we continue to be undeniably grateful for the support our community provides. Your generosity and donations directly impact the experiences youth can have with us. This year, we have had a surplus of scholarship applicants for 2026! Our scholarship fund of over $140,000 has been distributed to trekkers who will now be able to attend a Gulch Trek this season. We have a handful of trekkers who are still in need of some financial support. If you are interested in helping us reach our goal of $10,000, please visit our donation page and show your support! This goal will allow us to provide every trekker who has applied for a scholarship with the financial means to attend a life-changing experience this summer.

Most planned gifts support our endowment, which was established in 2001 and currently stands at $1.6 million. We distribute 3-5% annually to support our programs, while the rest is invested in diversified funds that have grown at an average rate of 8% since inception. Your contributions go directly to helping our legacy live on.
