Cottonwood Gulch continues to evolve and update our programs to adhere to local and national COVID guidelines.

CGE requires all participants in our open-enrollment programs (including summer treks, adult treks, family treks, and semester programs) to be fully vaccinated (as defined by the CDC) on doses of an FDA-recommended COVID-19 vaccine for which s/he is approved. For group programs with schools and other partners, participants will be required to follow vaccination guidelines as defined by their institution and will be required to follow all CGE and local government COVID-19 protocols during the program. CGE staff and participants may be asked to provide proof of vaccination status with one of the following:

For information on specific programs, please see the contact information below.

• CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or photo of the card,
• Documentation of vaccination from a health care provider or electronic health record, or
• State Immunization Information System record.

Staff or trekkers who would like to request a religious or medical exemption from CGE’s vaccine requirement should complete an exemption request form which will be reviewed by CGE in accord with applicable law. The CGE Leadership Team will assess all exemption requests and supporting documentation and will make a timely determination in accord with the applicable law. You will be notified if additional information is needed to assess your request. Exemption decisions will be communicated to you as soon as a determination is reached.
