We are very excited to share our 2024 Annual Report with you! Paper copies of the report will be arriving in your mailboxes soon, but here is a sneak peak at our impact in 2024. This year we got to watch a number of fresh faces experience the Gulch for the first time through our school programs in which we were able to bring 1,526 students outdoors. Our summer Treks were a big success with 135 trekkers -a great mix of old and new- growing into themselves in over 10 different treks!
With our 100th Anniversary just around the corner we also have some exciting projects in the works including Regional Rendezvous events we will be hosting across the US, the publication of a historical book about the Gulch, and our Trekking into the Future planned giving campaign.
Also featured in the report, the Silver Buckle Award recognizes volunteers, staff or donors who have demonstrated an impactful pattern of service to the Gulch. This year’s two recipients are founding members of the Turquoise Trail trek–the original trek for girls founded in 1934. You can read about the deserving awardees and learn more about our 100th anniversary projects in the report.
