“There is life everywhere, and beauty. The wetlands are important for wildlife, and in turn important for humans. Going outside helps show people that even when things are tough, you will get relief.”

In 2023, Cottonwood Gulch provided outdoor learning adventures to students in 30 school and community organizations throughout New Mexico. We work with a number of Title I (low income) schools in Albuquerque, Grants, Gallup and Santa Fe and with community organizations like Boys & Girls Club, and New Mexico Child Advocacy Network. A large portion of the program fees for these life-changing programs come from the generous contributions of alumni and donors like you. The quotes from students depicted here show the impact our programs have, especially in the increasingly isolated, digital and indoor world our children inhabit today. Help us provide these community building, experiential programs to students by making a donation today.
